Using the Database
The AAMC defines underrepresented in medicine (URiM) as "those racial and ethnic populations that are underrepresented in the medical profession relative to their numbers in the general population."
While all the programs listed below welcome students from racially and ethnically underrepresented populations, some programs operate off their own understanding of URiM and welcome applicants from various other backgrounds. Use the tag function and below key to search for these opportunities, as well as opportunities based on host institution, location, and specialty.
